Level 1: Curling Foundations (2026/27 Season)
Schedule: October – December 2026 (8 Weeks)
Total Hours: 32 (4 hours per week)
Capacity: 48 Athletes (24 per group)
This tier focuses on the technical “building blocks” of the sport. Athletes will master the
mechanics of stable delivery, effective sweeping techniques, and the basic physics of
the game.
 Group A: Mon, Wed (7–8 AM) | Sat or Sun (3:30–5:30 PM)
 Group B: Tue, Thu (7–8 AM) | Sat or Sun (3:30–5:30 PM)

Level 2: Competitive Edge (2026/27 Season)
Schedule: January – March 2027 (12 Weeks)
Total Hours: 72 (6 hours per week)
Capacity: 24 Athletes (6 Teams)
This tier shifts the focus from individual mechanics to team dynamics and tactical
execution. It introduces athletes to the pressures of league play and the strategic “chess
on ice” required to win ends consistently.
 Morning Skill Work: Monday & Wednesday (7–8 AM)
 League Nights: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (as available)
 Sunday Clinics: 3:30–5:30 PM (Interclub Optimist, PYCA Clinics)


Level 3: Performance Elite (2027/28 Season)
Focus: Competitive Excellence & Advanced Strategy
Designed for the academy’s top tier, this level is where technical precision meets high-
stakes competition. Training at this level is dedicated to provincial/national pathway
preparation, physical conditioning, and advanced team communication.
 Curriculum: Video analysis of deliveries, advanced rock positioning (the “Free
Guard Zone” strategy), and mental performance coaching.
 Engagement: Full season competitive schedule, including regional bonspiels
and high-performance training camps.
